Curator’s Tour with Nat Muller

Curator Nat Muller gives a tour of The Mosaic Rooms’ new exhibition Pattern Recognition: The Young Artist of the Year Award 2016. The exhibition features works by five artists shortlisted for the Young Artist of the Year Award 2016 (YAYA). The Award is open to Palestinian artists under the age of 30 and is organized every two years by the A.M Qattan Foundation. Nat Muller mentored the artists shortlisted for the award over an intensive period of five months. In this tour she will talk about this process and introduce each of the works featured in the exhibition.
Nat Muller is an independent curator and critic. Her main fields of expertise are: contemporary art from the Middle East; the politics of image representation; media art; art and food. Her writing has been published internationally and she has written numerous catalogue and monographic essays on artists from the Middle East. She has curated exhibitions, screenings and other projects in Europe and the Middle East. In 2015 she was Associate Curator for the Delfina Foundation’s Politics of Food Program in London. Nat is contributing editor at Ibraaz.
