ABOUT MOSAIC ROOMS

Founded in London in 2009 by the A.M. Qattan Foundation, Mosaic Rooms supports and amplifies contemporary culture from the Arab world and beyond. Now operating as an independent charity, Mosaic Rooms enters a new chapter, while remaining rooted in its founding values, and with Palestine as its compass.

Mosaic Rooms is a gallery, bookshop, creative learning and programming space, garden and broadcasting capsule. Across visual and live arts, design, architecture, literature, film, music and food, we work with artists, researchers, curators, participants and friends to create spaces of encounter and exchange. Our work centres voices shaped by lived struggle and is rooted in solidarity with marginalised communities; particularly from the Arab world and its diaspora, as well as young people in London.

Through collaboration and advocacy, we hold the arts as a vital social and political force. Our programmes support critical discourse and collective action, making space for shared knowledge and for forms of poetic resistance that we believe are necessary to co-world more just and connected futures.
