Free

Join us for the launch of this new publication on the personal archives and library of Egyptian Modernist painter Hamed Abdalla. The launch accompanies ARABÉCÉDAIRE, the exhibition of Abdalla’s work now showing at The Mosaic Rooms. The publication from Zamân Books reflects on the artist’s journeys and influences, it brings to light a vast and rich body of material collected by Abdalla, which guided his painting practice. This publication reveals the artist’s place in transnational modern art history.

Morad Montazami, curator of the exhibition and director of Zamân Books, will be in discussion with the authors of the publication Kristine Khouri and Clare Davies.
