The performance has a short title

Performance

5/10/17 7pm

Artist Pascal Hachem interrogates the theme of memory in this live performance amidst the works of his solo exhibition The show has a long title that I don’t recall anymore currently on show at The Mosaic Rooms.

Pascal Hachem’s work is inspired by everyday life and his reflections on the social and political situations in Beirut. In the sculptural installations in this exhibition the search for traces of the past is a recurring theme, as Hachem questions what we remember and why. In this performance Hachem will perform actions from his daily life to ask if it is possible to make sense of the past. The performance will be deliberately undocumented, experienced only by those who witness it on the day.

Pascal Hachem was born in 1979, Lebanon. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions internationally. Alongside his artistic practice he is co founder of product design studio 200grs with Rana Haddad.
