Join us and the artist to celebrate the opening of the exhibition of a selection of works from the first chapter of Hajra Waheed’s Sea Change series – an on-going visual novel and multimedia archive. The show will immerse the visitor in the story of a character’s journey and disappearance, as they move through the galleries tracing his travels and quest.

Artist John Akomfrah’s retelling of the history of mass migration to post-war Britain through the lens of Homer’s epic poem, The Odyssey. This incredible film is divided into nine musical chapters and mixes a vast array of archival material. The film will be introduced by writer Isabel Stevens of Sight and Sound magazine.
