THEATRE WORKSHOP

Voices in Rehearsal

28 March, 11am-6pm

Tickets: £10

Drawing on theatre’s tools, this workshop with Ahmed Tobasi, Yasmin Shalaldeh and Zoe Lafferty invites participants to explore how storytelling and collaborative play can become liberating acts.

Through practical exercises, dialogue and creation, the workshop will explore theatre as a space of cultural resistance to confront history, find voice and reclaim freedom amid violent times of erasure. Participants will also engage with testimonies from artists across Palestine, including reflections on the history of The Freedom Theatre and Al Mishal Cultural Centre in Gaza, collected in the play The Revolution’s Promise.

Everyone aged 16+ is welcome - all backgrounds and experiences.

The workshop runs from 11am to 6pm – please commit to be there the whole day.

There is a 1-hour lunch break and smaller breaks scheduled to allow for moments of rest. Tickets include hot drinks, biscuits and fruits. Lunch is not provided.

All ticket income supports our programme directly. If the ticket is a barrier, please email contact@mosaicrooms.org for a free ticket.
