Hajar Reads: Infrastructure

Join Hajar Press, RESOLVE and Mosaic Rooms for a reading group on the theme of infrastrucure.
Using extracts from selected Hajar Press titles, we'll consider the infrastructures that shape our societies and our lives — from systems of housing and healthcare to rules and designs that regulate 'private' and 'public' space.
What are the impacts of these infrastructures? And how could they be reorganised to better meet our needs?
Hajar Reads is new reading and discussion space, organised by Hajar Press, open to all. Each month, a themed selection of extracts from Hajar Press titles is taken as a starting point to imagine beyond the way things are and reflect on our responsibilities to the world and to each other.
Every three months, Hajar Reads will be co-hosted with Mosaic Rooms.

RESOLVE is an interdisciplinary design collective that combines architecture, engineering, technology and art to address social challenges. They have delivered numerous projects, workshops, publications, and talks in the UK and across the world, all of which look toward realising just and equitable visions of change in our built environment.
