Please join us for a reading by Caasha Luul Mohamud Yusuf and Clare Pollard on Tuesday 13th March, 7pm to celebrate the publication of Poems by Caasha Luul Mohamud Yusuf, translated by Clare Pollard, Maxamed Xasan ‘Alto’ and Said Jama Hussein.

Caasha Luul Mohamud Yusuf is fast emerging as one of the most exciting young poets living in the Somali diaspora. She began writing poetry at a young age and has since received much praise for her ability to infuse her poetry with fresh imagery and telling details. You can read some of her translated poetry here

Clare Pollard is Caasha’s translator. A poet herself, Clare was named by The Independent as one of the ‘Top 20 Writers under 30’.
