Join us for a special Friday Late with Cyrus Goberville. Cyrus will play a hybrid DJ set, mixing experimental field recordings and traditional music from Iran with modern electronic textures.
Cyrus Goberville co-runs the Paris based music label Collapsing Market with Louis Vial and Ethan Assouline. Interested in contemporary scenes of both art and music, he is co-curating the multidisciplinary Permanent Cuts sessions that were launched at The Community gallery in Paris in 2016.
Grandson of conceptual artist Behjat Sadr and composer Morteza Hannaneh, he released in 2017 « Tchashm-e-Del » on Collapsing Market, a compilation of tracks his grandfather recorded in the 1980’s on Radio Teheran with the Farabi Orchestra.
