The winter 2020 issue of Mizna is guest edited by Palestinian graphic novelist Leila Abdelrazaq and addresses prompt of A New World Order. These days, it seems as though revolutionary changes are happening daily. From global political upheavals to public health crises, we are living in unprecedented times that are changing the ways we think, work, act, live, and love. We may not know what the future holds, but one thing is certain: the world as we know it is changing forever.

Leila Abdelrazaq (b. 1992, Chicago) is a Palestinian author and artist. Her debut graphic novel, Baddawi (Just World Books, 2015) was shortlisted for the 2015 Palestine Book Awards and has been translated into three languages. She is also the creator of a number of zines and short comics.
Mizna is a critical platform for contemporary literature, art, film, and cultural programming centering the work of Arab and Southwest Asian and North African artists. They publish Mizna: Prose, Poetry and Art Exploring Arab America, the only Arab American lit and art journal in the US; produce the Twin Cities Arab Film Festival, the largest and longest running Arab film fest in the Midwest; and offer classes, readings, performances, public art, and community events.
