RSVP below for this in-person event.
Join Chahine Fellahi for our next sensory art and play session exploring watery bondings and becomings. Children and their accompanying grown-ups will be invited to take part in hands-on activities using organic materials and textiles and activate the gallery space through playful interactions with light and projection.
Play Lab: Water Binds Us is a three-month intervention at The Mosaic Rooms, transforming one of the gallery spaces into a sensory play space for children and their accompanying grown-ups. Following this first workshop, the space will be opened at the weekends for continued exploration and self-led play.
Chahine Fellahi (b. 1994) is a visual artist, filmmaker and educator based between London (UK) and Casablanca (Morocco). Working across analog and digital processes, her practice harnesses film and photography as tools to explore the materiality of images and their relationship to memory.
All materials will be provided. Suitable for age 4-11 although all are welcome. Children to be accompanied by adults.
The name of this workshop was inspired by the poem ‘Who Am I, Without Exile?’ by Mahmoud Darwish.
