FreeSmall Press Fest runs over the weekend Saturday and Sunday 13-14 July from 12-6pm in The Mosaic Rooms gallery and garden. RSVP for individual events below.
Join us for the third iteration of Small Press Fest, an annual fair celebrating small-press and independent publications. Browse through publications, meet artists and publishers, and participate in the activities.
Featuring tables by Aleesha Nandhra, Hamja Ahsan, Khidr Collective, LibLib Publishing, Maqam Books, Montez Press, The Pidgin Library, PageMasters, STUART, Sold Out Publishing, Visualizing Palestine, WANAWAL, and more TBC.
Visit our Open Library Solidarity Zine table, curated and organised by Beata Li. A project spotlighting self-organized solidarity zines ranging from bilingual to quadrulingual productions, to showcasing re-displaying zines from university encampments. Enacting as a start of collection and documentation of solidarity zines all across the world. To create an open library of collective knowledge and empowerment of breaking the traditional publishing and knowledge creation system. We encourage you to share your knowledge, experiences, to participate in producing your own zines and re-distributing with the printers and stationaries provided.
This year’s programme features talks by Marwan Kaabour and Visualizing Palestine, an Afghan kite making workshop with Ahmadzia Bakhtyari, and a storytelling session for families with Elias Matar.
