A book centred upon the theme of Future Palestine. Volume I features work from emerging and award-winning writers, poets, architects, curators, researchers and artists from Palestine and its diaspora. With contributions on an array of themes including mental health, Sci-Fi, architecture, archaeology, return, classism, gender issues, nationalism and more.

Founded in 2018, Lifta is a multidisciplinary platform that interrogates the narratives, histories and issues of the Middle East and North Africa. Lifta was co-founded by Amira Asad, Leila Peinado, Rashed Al Deiri.

Leila Peinado is a creative director, designer and curator. She worked on Mudun: Urban Cultures in Transit exhibition in collaboration with Brownbook, Vitra Design Museum and the Architectural Association School of Architecture. She is co-founder of the creative studio BLZE.

Rashed Deiri is a London based writer, editor and creative director. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.

Amira Asad is a writer, editor, curator and co-founder of BLZE Studio. She is managing editor of Diaspora of the Middle East and North Africa (2019). She has curated for the Vitra Design Museum and Architectural Association School of Architecture. Based in Mexico, she is researching diaspora communities in Latin America.
